My photographs on aperture have been taken at Cockington near my house on a dull day. My theme was a sense of place and I was influenced to do a photo shoot using aperture and depth of field because we have been researching these elements within class. By doing my photo shoot the aim was to show the meaning of aperture, shallow = making the object sharper and the background blurred and large = making the object appear the same quality as the background, I used the aperture range of F.5 – F.22. as my photographs were taken of a dull day the quality personally doesn’t look great, my aim is when I have some free time to redo my photo shoot on a brighter day and compare my photographs against each other.
In my opinion, the first thing that went particularly well about my photo shoot would be that you can see which photos are shallow depth of field and which are large depth of field, by doing this I completed my aim which was to show the meaning of aperture. In my opinion, the first thing I find disappointing was that it was a dull day which affected the quality of the photographs. If I were to improve this part of my photo shoot, I would redo it and compare the results of the images I have and the images of a brighter day and review the results. I've looked at this as close up work and now want to try photographing with more of a wider view.
